Why are the chairs not delivered assembled?

In order to use as little packaging as possible, the chairs are no longer delivered fully assembled, but pre-assembled. In addition, the delivery of our chairs in assembled form is susceptible to transport damage. We pack the chairs in cardboard boxes, which significantly minimizes transport damage. Assembly at home is then possible in just a few steps.
